This is just a rant, but i’d love opinions and such..
Basically i was happy to see some changes made to my favourite beauty store - Superdrug.
In the middle of the year they bought out their beauty card, which is both amazing yet belated.
It means that I don’t need to go to boots to get my points (spending more money also) and it also means i get a nice little mirror :)
But it seems to me they could have made this years ago when Boots had theirs and yet a lot of places including coffee shops do points cards so its nothing new.
My other annoyance is that Superdrug have recently revamped their stores.
its not that great, i went into the Bullring and felt it looked rather empty for a store that did look so full and simple. yet they confused things.
But horrifically the store i always go to (corporation street) was worse; i went in not knowing where ANYTHING was, thats never happened i use to go in there knowing that i could grab what i wanted with ease and not stress. This is where branding/merchandising can go wrong, theres one thing making a store look better but to confuse its customers isnt a good thing.
people want to know they don’t need to hunt for where things are and not be confused. its not like there were aisles, basically it was like a maze. oh dear.
They didn’t really have much done, just new shelves and signage on the walls giving information where certain things would be (although that wasn’t very helpful).
Love my wands. Foreverrr!!
Anyone else have wands :P ??
Took a photograph of my terrapins yesterday. They are so adorable, this one is being a ninja with the rubber duckies :]
This is a visual merchandising project im doing at the moment, this is my very first attempt, need to practice a lot though, going to add the ‘models’ on later :P I hope it looks okayt, im afraid it will be seen as too much going on…?
